Forrest Gnome

One of the last remaining forrest gnome.
Due to their susceptibility to arcane experimentation, they're highly sought after by magicians, sorcerers, witches, dabblers and the occasional sentient farm animal.
Capturing a live "wild" gnome can, due to the high demand and low availability, set you up for a good part of your life.
As a result, hunting bands of professional gnome-hunters have been spotted roaming the forrests and dales of the south.
The few remaining forrest gnomes are hard to catch, since the more clumsy, jovial and otherwise can't-survive-for-shit (layman's term) ones have been culled from the gene-pool. 
Subsequently, the gnome-hunters still practising their trade have dwindled, the "difficulty / competition = profit" equation not being in their favour.
Therefore the remaining hunters are the more hardcore ones. All the "lawyers-in-need-of-a-hobby" and "Person-that-happened-upon-a-gnome-hunt-and-thought-eh-why-the-fuck-not-and-joined"
have gone home, leaving the "I-can-smell-your-fear", "I-rolled-in-what-I-think-was-mud-for-camouflage" and "Burn-the-woods-down-catch-whatever-comes-out" ones.
